Frank Summerill started in the industry when he was just 19 years old, first working for his future father-in-law who owned a trucking, and excavation business. Frank branched off on his own doing driveway seal coating after he and Georgianna got married. As time went on, he hired some employees and expanded the business. Their two sons Frank and Jim started working in the business at a very young age, pushing brooms and helping their father on job sites when they were just ten and twelve years old. Frank and Jim own and operate Summerill Paving and Concrete to this day, working along side with their crew, to personally supervise every job. Georgianna still answers the office phone and makes sure that every customer receives a response as quickly as possible.
Summerill Paving and Concrete have completed close to 100 jobs per year, every year for the last 50 years. They have great working relationships with local townships and are very familiar with permitting requirements. Because they complete so many jobs, they are able to streamline the entire process from initial consultation to getting permits and completing the job on time every time. They own all of their equipment and therefore can keep their promised timeline to customers (weather permitting).
